Stephen Singam is a seasoned cybersecurity and governance professional with extensive experience across the defense, technology, and financial services sectors. He has held senior cybersecurity roles at leading organizations, including Salesforce, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, 21st Century Fox, IBM, Hewlett Packard, and others. He also assisted several security and FinTech startups.
Stephen served as a Technical Program Manager at the US Department of Defense (DoD), where he led the Identity Credential Enterprise Solution & Services (ICEs2) program, supporting key agencies like the US Air Force, US Army, US Marine Corps, US Navy, and defense services such as the Defense Counterintelligence, Defense Information System Agency (DISA), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the White House Military Office (WHMO).
Stephen has an MS in Management of Technology from the Wharton Business School & the School of Applied Science & Engineering. He is a Moore Fellow in Management of Technology at the University of Pennsylvania. He has been on the panels and presented at New York Times Business-Innovation, Silicon Valley’s ISACA Annual Meetings, RSA Conference and B-Sides. He was a reviewing member of the 9th working draft of the United States Government NIST Cloud Computing Standards Roadmap. He is also a founding member of Cloud Security Alliance (CSA). He has an active secret clearance from the US Department of Defense.
